I was checking out the web for VoIP providers in Europe when I came across this ISP (www.free.fr) in France today and I just have to vent my frustration.
For the unbelievable amount of 29,99 Euros per month, which currently is the equivalent of R225 they offer the following services.
1. 24MB/s ADSL line
2. Over 100 free TY channels
3. Free phone calls (VoIP) to anywhere in France and free unlimited VoIP calls to 14 international destinations including: USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, Siungapore, Israel, Spain, China, Austria, UK, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands.
4. 1 GB full featured web hosting
5. Video on demand, movies at 1.99 Euros (R15) per title
6. Access of all your missed calls, call durations, etc..., from your TV
7. Wi-FI box (not sure what this is about, but Free are the first WIMAX license holders in France).
This is consumers paradise.
Would anyone dare to put together the equivalant costs we would have to fork out in SA?
