A bit of googling reveals that the organisation that did the study "... received funds for this purpose from the Mobile Manufacturers' Forum and GSM Association" ... gee, no conflict of interest there, the guys who make mobile phones and networks funded a study that claims to prove mobile phones don't raise your cancer risk. These results should be regarded as meaningless, as should all studies conducted by an industry with vested interests, as historically, more often than not such studies have turned out to have biased results.
Funny how they admit the following: "Among cancer sufferers the tumours were more likely to be reported on the side of the head where they held the phone." ... then find a way to dismiss this. There is definitely a correlation - have they proven that the ENTIRE correlation can be explained by selection bias? No, they just claimed that as if it were a fact. Another possible selection bias occurs as a result of the way the study was done, i.e. interviewing live people: ""If you get a grade four glioma you can die within a year or 18 months of it being diagnosed, and these people are just gone, so they couldn't get their mobile phone history." This also only examines one particular type of cancer. No other possible health-related side-effects were examined.
