I think its fascinating that most of the people/YOUTH who would benefit from this kind of summit, are running small backoffice companies and cannot afford an excess of R3k for a ticket. Meanwhile the hardcore security okes who are going for vague interest and free food get to have the cheese again.

I agree.. I had no idea this summit would be so expensive. Night Wulfe as you said, the youth like myself (18 years old studying IT Security) who's interested and would be kean to listen and gain something from it, we cant go because of the high costs. Anyone interested in sponsoring me a ticket?? lol.

Well... since he is in the country already, can't we just ask him to meet some of us "off the record" so to speak? Take him out for lunch (i.e. whole afternoon :D) or something similar?
 
ettubrute: good idea. Im up for lunch or a drink with Kevin Mitnick. Since he is in CT, we might as well get in touch. Between the people on MyADSL, someone should be able to tell us where he is staying or his email addy or his mobile number. Lets see what we can do. Im all for it!
