Qualifications and Experience · B.Com / BSc is preferred.· Informatics Diploma acceptable· CISA is nice to have· MCSE + degree is great· A+ and degree is great· CISSP would be a bonus· Security Profiling Services· Security Architecture· Security Implementation· Security Outsourcing and / or IT Infrastructure Outsourcing· Understand the latest security concepts · Sound business processes and clear vision required to move from assessment through to implementation· Strong track record of sales of professional services in these areas especially mega projects· A network of clients and vendors within the IT security industry and business at a senior executive level CIO and CEO· Excellent Project Management Track Record
Relevant Experience in ONE or more area of the following: · Understand Security in Operating Systems (Windows NT/2k, Netware, Solaris, Linux, AS/400, Mainframe)· Databases (Oracle, SQL, Sybase, Other)· Firewalls (Firewall 1, Gauntlet, Cisco Pix, Sunscreen etc), Routers, Switches, Proxies, Intrusion detection systems· Security of Web servers (IIS, Apache, other)· Networking and protocols (Lan, Wan, TCP/IP, IPX, Netbios)· Security Assessments (Attack and Penetration, Vulnerability Analysis)· Experience in use of commercial and underground security tools· Analyse and understand security vulnerabilities, their impact on systems and exploitation thereof
Skills & Behavioural Attributes · Team leadership experience· Assist in putting together project plans, budgets, controlling billing, etc.· Technical security infrastructure experience· Diverse IT Security Audit / Platform security specific experience / database security experience / network security experience (Must be proficient skill)· IT Operations knowledge and experience· COBIT knowledge would be an advantage!· IT Audit experience preferred· Project Management experience required· Presentation skills· Exposure to account management· ISO27001· ISO27002 (Information Security Management Framework)

· Key Responsibilities · Solutions Development· Business Development· Strategic planning· Account Management Lead complex teams, work onsite at clients, conduct reviews of their IT networks, platforms, processes, find system exceptions, risks, etc. Assess client’s security controls. Review written reports and document findings. Things like time management, discipline, accountability, self motivation and eagerness are important.
· ISMS Charter, Governance, Development and Maintenance;
· Policies: Policy documents convey the guiding principles, practices and stipulations that govern a specific area of management. The policy need to be designed to support the objectives of the Department and take into account its compliance requirements;
· Standards: Security standard documents prescribe the security controls necessary to maintain information systems in terms of the plan, do, and check model application of the ISO27000 standard;
· Processes and procedures: Processes and procedures are controls that document steps and tasks required to successfully complete a specific activities;
· Information Security Awareness and Training: Awareness training is a critical part of establishing and maintaining an effective ISMS.
· Information Security Risk Assessment: Assessing and analysis of the level of risk to information security.
· Disaster Recovery Plan and Business continuity Plan: Develop the DRP and BCP for the department.
