Hi there, I just got myself a tablet.I went for the Acer because of a better value proposition compared to others in the market right now.I love it.

Does anyone know where I could get a good carry case to hold and carry, store and also use it as a prop up stand when typing. Holding this in my hands is tiring. What about portable keyboard?

i looked every where for my Acer Iconia A500. (Pls note the model)

Incredible corruption had the official Acer case which I felt looked cheap for R500.
Online Amazon will not ship to RSA. I bought mine from wantitall.co.za: waited to recieve 20% discout code from them and got free delivery (and considering they offer gaurantee etc) makes them a better choice. They basically buy from Amazon and also you can e-mail them and they'll look around for you and give a price.

I dont know if it will help but my ASUS Eee Pad Transformer works with a Logitech Wireless mouse and Keyboard set. Just plug the receiver into the USB and off you go. I normally do this when the tablet is plunged into the TV via HDMI and I want to control it from the couch.

I 1st tried the Microsoft 3000 v2 Set with that blue light tracking, but for some reason it did not like the mouse as it stuttered like crazy.

Also any Bluetooth keyboard should work, even the fold up ones for phones.
 
Cool than. Anyone use a stylus? I am looking for something that will allow me to make sketches and scribbles. I will be projecting this through a data projector so my students can see what I am writing---much like a black board? Any such luck. I have seen a lot of accessories for Acer iconia on Amazon but alas in ZA it is still a dream.
