Connecting to Xbox live via laptop

Hi All

I need some help. I have a 4gb xbox slim and want to connect to xbox live using my dell studio laptop. The laptop has an internal modem and I'm connecting using 3g. Does anyone know how to set it up so I can connect to xbl? Be it via wifi or via a wired network please. I dont really game online, just need to download a patch for a game.

Hi

1. Share you're 3g connection through ICS (internet connection sharing)
2. This should set your local connection to 192.168.1.1
3. Set this IP as your default gateway on your xbox with an IP of 192.168.1.10

and this should work as a bom.

I found using wired network works the easiest.
