Hi

Anyone know if there is an International problem? I am on Cybersmart - 10meg ADSL.

Speedtest won't load. The MyBroadband Speedtest runs a South African test no problem, gets a 275 ms ping for the International test, then says "Preparing Download Test" and goes no further.

yeah international seems a bit slow im on axxess IS capped account
4meg ADSL
local is normal

OMG... I am getting 643ms ping local with 250kbps download and 125kbps upload... I am suppose to have a 6196kbps line!!!!!!!!
 
I'm on Telkom... Been having a few non-loading web pages. But when it does work, speeds are normal.
 
Not too bad on an Afrihost 1024 uncapped account...

Looks like something is busted, can't open daringfireball.com - since yesterday. I'm on Openweb Gold (IS).

Opens up on Vodacom 3G though.

yes it is down.i am on wazzup uncapped(cybersmart reseller) no internet connection.i switched to fnbconnect :-)

i think so.cybersmart is having a issue.not just international, there is no local connection as well.my fnbconnect is working without a problem.
 
ye i'm not convinced - apparently seacom cable is broken (according to cybersmart). Doesn't make sense, because Axess(IS),Afrihost(IS),Openweb(IS),Mweb(IS) are all online and connecting and routing to international.

I'm on my Axxess account at the moment with no issues at all.

Might be an ISP issue, not cable related - I'm hoping its cable related, but cant find any ISP who's out a notice about a broken Seacom cable at the moment.
 
Well international is slow in my IS\seacom based account, with certain sites not loading.
