Good day,

I have been using uncapped wifi for over 2 years at pathetic speeds 256kbps then I got the 3 month trial on telkom works great!! So I have 5 gb blended data and 20 gb local I just went over the 5gb by 200 mb does anyone know if the R15 p/gb is only for local or for blended data too? I have not been capped as I can still use facebook and other .com sites.

The other thing is I get 2gb per month free from fnb connect I am using this for my ps3 also works great, but is there a way I can configure my router to use this wireless on my laptop? I only have 1 cable that goes from the router to the ps3.

Thanks for any info:confused:

Telkom will only charge you the R15/gig if you exceed the free local data allowance.

Blended data will be capped. Maybe they're just being nice for a change by not hard-capping you just yet........

You can set up your laptop to use your FNB Connect credentials by creating a new connection (in Windows there's a wizard to help you do this}.

Set up the connection manually. Call it "FNB Connect" or something. Click the option that requires a user name and password, put in your FNB Connect user name and password and voila, you're done.

When you want to use the FNB connection, go to Network Connections and select "FNB Connect" or whatever you called the connection in your setup.

The 5GB accounts will be capped at ??10GB?? this month I believe. Cannot remember what the trial was going at.
