Only beta and if you can sideload you can try it, but it is here.
It should be available in the next little while - I suspect when Mango is officially launched!

Looks pretty crap compared to Kik unfortunately.Got a couple of bugs also. They still got some work left todo before they publish this. If this is a beta, then their internal testing is not up to standard. The bugs in this version (1.0.1) is quite annoying, easy to replicate and happens way too often.

Yep i see it is out. I read they wanted something live for mango and hopfully are going to be adding functionality. But we will see. So far it has been very functional for me.

I installed whatsapp this morning and so far it seems to be working fine :) definitely quite a lot of updates and functionality needed but at least the first step is to get it out... now lets see if Mxit follows....I think you should offer Mxit some help @Rogue...

When a friend sends a message, I get "Blackberry user says:" instead of their name, which is kinda annoying. It also would have been better for it to create a tab on the message hub, because now everytime I have a message, I have to go and "launch" the app.

I just updated whatsapp now and well... Not much of a difference other than screen rotation? I think roguemat really needs to help them out. I would have said create another app but too many messaging apps out there...

They don't want it or don't need it. Also offered help. I also made a few suggestions but never received any kind of response.
