Countries with biggest broadband growth last year - Jan 1 to Sep 30 2005

Yes, they arnt been [picture of screws]'d over by Telkom. Telkom's short sighted dimwitted approach to raping South Africa of as much money as it can now, has ment that a majority of South Africans are having to suffer for the shareholders greed

Countries like Morocco, Argentine and New Zealand beat South Africa despite the huge demand for broadband in this country.

Morocco. Another African Country beating us? Who would of said.
Who next? Zimbabwe?

Just goes to show how far we are "lagging" behind.
Pun intended!

Turkey now has over 1m lines and Morocco has very quickly built a significant installed base of 179,000 lines.
That is broadband lines so Morocco passed South Africa in broadband lines last year (taking into account the amount of lines mentioned in that article and the fact that broadband lines increased 200% in that country from Jan to Sept last year)

South Africa isn't the country that has the most broadband lines in Africa anymore!
