right, so my old boss has left the world of Blackberry and got himself an iPhone.

he is asking me how to get angry birds on, but I told him that he needs to jailbreak for that. he wants to jailbreak but he's probably one of the least technical people I know (no offense if you reading this lol)

is there anyone in pretoria willing to lend a hand and JB his phone for him?

or perhaps another way to get Angry Birds without a JB?

You don't need to jailbreak to get it. Just get a fake US account or a Kenyan one which was recently advertised on MyBB as an alternative to a fake US one. The Kenyan accepts credit cards and is a lot easier than buying vouchers.
 
Type Cydia into google on your bosses iPhone and goto the FAQ. It will show you all the repos and there are tutorials on some sites on how to jailbreak.
 
Assuming it's not running the latest firmware. Goto www.jailbreakme.com

Alternatively just change your location to Kenya and find a Kenyan postal code. Then you can buy stuff off the 'US' store while still using your SA cc.
 
The iOS 4.5 update blocks the hack to jailbreak an iPhone. It's only supported on 4.3.

This is your best bet really.. Although you should buy apps ;) But that's another story for another day.

Jailbreakme.com will work on versions 4.3 - 4.3.3 only. Above that and only a tethered jailbreak is possible which is not worth the hassle at all (imo), especially for a business person.
 
right, so who can point me to a fool proof guide to changing your location to Kenya lol

and I just use some random kenyan post address or something??
