Hi, sorry, couldn't find the right words....:D

From what day to what day in a month is the cap cycle every month? I've used more than I get this month, and dont want to push my luck by downloading more. So when can I start again?

Sorry to hijack - dont want to start a new thread in case it attracts undue attention from the powers that be at TI

Is their capping system broken because I just checked my usage and it's almost 3GB over cap :wtf:. Normally gets shut down PDQ. I'm refering to blended/international cap

It happens....

They cannot charge you if you exceed your blended cap as they use a hard-capping system.

I have now used 38.4GB of blended.

20GB (Blended) is what I have on this account thanks to the promo upgrade.

I carried on with local downloads since I usually use that 30GB of free local. Wont exceed 50GB... as that's what I usually get with that package.

jammer om nou hier te sit en derms ryg...

what are your opinions on the "monitoring bandwith" clause in the terms? it mentions blendend cap, and overuse specifically.

personally i feel it's there so that if they want to nail the chancer who zoeked 300GB, they can

I believe if you stay within the limitation of your account you are safe.

i.e Local + Blended

I would challenge it as they have made a commitment to ICASA to hardcap the blended use and then place you on a local cap. If they make an error they cannot penalise you for it.

"remains your responsibility" exempts everything to me :) anyway, i also think noone's going to get billed too soon. i mean how many years now, always around this time.. it's no accident they don't know about man.

btw MrG, agree 100%. technically thats what you pay for.

I meant blended data, but I'l rather wait till 1 st of next month before I dl again. Thanks

ja, me too. this month and last month the do3's total allowance was 50GB (usually 39), now lets say; bang tomorrow you're capped and managed 49GB, i reckon it's a bit of a risk using too much more of the local you have left, because you didn't pay for that much transit
