We have a number of our own local and international Windows and Linux servers, however some of our clients have strange ASP.NET & MS SQL hosting requirements. For these clients we've chosen to signup for a reseller aggreement with Web Africa (We've made this agreement totally transparent to our clients, and informed those ones that they are infact on Web Africas servers). We did this to avoid any undue liability from potential downtime on Web Africa's servers.

This past month Web Africa experienced a few minor issues with thier US mail servers, nothing to write home about... mail delays etc. They are in the process of upgrading thier whole system due to this.

At the same time I recieved a credit note in our mailbox for 20% of our monthly fee. I'm actually astounded, this would make WA the only smaller South African provider that practices uptime gaurentees and lives up to thier promises (either technically or with monatary recomensation), that I'm aware of.

We've chosen to take a page out of WA's books to improve our service delivery to our clients. We will be of course be extending this disscount to our clients which were effected by the downtime.

I use them for DSL. They truly are amazing. And their website application is really mindblowing. Makes everything from changing CC info, to buying another 1Gb so simple

It is an awsome system... we would like to buy it from them, but they probably wouldn't sell it. It certianly does put them one step ahead when it comes to client service. ;)
