and all except for the 8ta (2+1) on a 24 month contract. What a load of bullocks. Whenever you take out a 24 month contract with these mafiosa companies, you are responsible for stifiling growth in this market. Stop taking these contracts and demand prepaid or month to month. Same goes for ADSL, give it to us on prepaid.

All of ibursts offers have month to month, you just don't get a modem on m2m.

There is no throttling last time I checked... You get as fast as you can go. But there is heavy shaping during the day - so don't be expecting to p2p other than between 00:00 and 8:00.

AH, i see you were refering to the iBursts uncapped 1/3GB daily limit - yeah throttling there.

Cell C is only 12 Months and their Recharge Rewards on a monthly basis.
 
I searched the Neotel site and have been struck with an apparently incurable case of confusion????
If I took Neoconnect home package for R299, I get 5 gig and 50 mins anytime airtime
However,
If I took Neoflex Data I pay R499, I also get 5 gig data???

Navigating the site for more info is tougher tahn the toughest RPG - and I'm and FPS guy

Cell-C should read:
With a USB Modem:
  • 24GB for R1,499: 2GB of data per month for 12 months includes a 7.2Mbps data card, once off
  • 60GB for R2,999: 5GB of data per month for 12 months includes a [-]7.2Mbps[/-] 21.1Mbps data card, once off

Without a USB Modem:
  • 24GB for R999: 2GB of data per month for 12 months, once off.
  • 60GB for R1,999: 5GB of data per month for 12 months, once off.

iBurst's Pro 10+ for R198 is one of the best packages out there at the moment, it includes 10GB of anytime data, plus 10GB of data to be used between 00:00 and 08:00.

It doesn't include a modem on month2month, but you can pick up a modem from R1000 to R1500 second hand.

Very happy with their new prices...
 
If you have an existing modem, can you take out the iBurst Pro 10+ on a month to month contract? Sounds like something I could use as a backup for the office, for when our ADSL is up to nonsense.
 
You no longer get the R50 recharge deal with CellC. It ended at the end of September.
 
And now Cell C is increasing their 60 Gig prepaid from R2999 to R5999. Looks like the days of cheap mobile internet is gone, except for 8ta.

What a sad day...

Mobile yup, wireless nope. Iburst's be packages are unreal in term of price.

fwiw I'm on 3mbps uncapped at R799 per month, fair usage policy that never gets applied or does not exist, I've used over 120gb per month for 3 consecutive months now ...
