So if i understand this right, goverment is going to bank roll a rollout of mywireless?

So we have a dominant Telecoms company with the goverment the major shareholder, an emerging Telecoms company with the goverment the major shareholder, and now goverment moving into the wireless space.

Thought Police???

Call me paranoid but this does not sound right too me.

For $200 million (R1.3Bn) which is 0.3% of this supposed infrastructure spend the goverment could put in a eassy and solve SA bandwidth problems.
 
Government owns fixed line. Government owns wireless.
Result: total control over telecoms.
Casualties: us.
