Wth, this guy is trying to undermine us?
"Are you aware that MyBB's users are consumers, and are not involved in building networks? We weren't aware that consumers cared about how they get a service."
So that settles it then, many of us aren't technical people who are qualified to comment on the viability of anything network-related

What a chop.
Of course, us consumers do care about how we get our services!!!

NeoTel's presentation was pretty good. It slammed all of Telkom's inquiries.

You saying they actually do have teeth? :p
Hope they do get a good lecturing to. As well poor show from Telkom coming in and saying this whole thing is a sham.
What will happen now though as Telkom are not prepared. Also time for today will run out. Will they just drop the discussions tomorrow?

Will extracts (soundbites) of the recordings be made by the powers that be in holding the clips. Downloading from Youtube and editing is a pain.

Morning Paul,
Not sure what you are looking for? Would you like copies of the files I uploaded to YouTube?
Thanks

basically if I grab the files from Youtube I am sitting with flv so converting them accross to mpg or whatever needs to be done in order to extract. If you could have the files uploaded to youtube available as a torrent that would be awesome.
The particular soundbites I'd like to see is (a) when the Chair asks RPM about the suit - CBS had stuff on FB of pictures from Suitup day and it is quite cool that it was marked in an ICASA (which is almost equivalent to the yanks FCC) hearing; and (b) where Telkom stumbles over in answering my first question, firstly it is an ego boost and secondly they call themselves a "natural person". Watching through 40 odd minute clips is quite different to a 20sec "soundbite"

Hi Paul,
Have a look at keepvid.com for downloading from YouTube. They actually over MP4 files and MP3 files for almost all YouTube videos.
Thank you.

I was very excited about this whole thing since the beginning, but lately I've been having doubts and thinking that nothing positive will come of this at all. The ripping off will continue.
