Best way to connect country-wide branches locally

Hi

Apologies if this is the wrong section...

We are currently rolling out a project with about 25 branches country-wide. We plan on moving large amounts of data (i.e. 20Tb per month) between these branches, and 2 datacentres where the data will be stored, in Pretoria and Cape Town. The only requirement I need to fill is that each branch needs to be connected to a datacentre at at least 1.5Mbps.

We don't require a breakout to the internet for each branch. Also looking at an approximate 90% uptime.

I've heard a lot about ATM, Martis, Diginet, MetroEthernet, FrameExpress and Etherlink, but can't find anyone at Telkom that is able to answer my questions.

What would you suggest to use to connect these branches?

I am sure Telkom has a Frame Relay solution that will meet your requirements .. :)
 
If you have the money you can look at Telkom's VPN Supreme. Something like 98 percent uptime I think

Cheapest way would be to call or email techconcepts and enquire about their inter-branch channel bonding. They do lots of corporates with exactly that requirement.

Just had a thought. An MPLS network would actually suit you better.
