I added to my Afrihost capped account and checked that the additional gigs showed on the Afrihost control panel. Then changed my router setup to the Afrihost account. Now all non-Afrihost sites return http://adsl-account-is-locked.afrihost.co.za/index.html??

What is going on? I have the Afrihost invoice for new bandwidth in my inbox and no internet access. Come on guys!

I've had to go back to my old Axxess account to post this

Restart your router and clear your DNS cache on your PC by running: ipconfig /flushdns

If you still get that error, then you'll have to speak to Afrihost.

Thanks all, the problem is sorted.

@Pada - Is there a similar command on Ubuntu? I tried ifconfig /flushdns, but it doesn't seem to be a valid option.

Quick google shows that you need to install the Name Server Cache Daemon (nscd). To flush cache, in a terminal use:
sudo /etc/init.d/nscd restart
