Description:
Nursing - Registered Nurse – ICU
Conduct advanced nursing duties to meet the requirements of quality critical patient care, ensuring that all nursing activities carried out comply with SANC regulations relevant legislation and Life Health care policies and procedures.
Ensure professional and ethical practice in the unit
Ensure provision of competent, advanced clinical nursing care in the unit
Enhance customer satisfaction
Build professional relationships with the multi-disciplinary teams
Assist in maintaining an environment which is both emotionally and physically safe (safety and infection control)
Contribute to business efficiency through cost effective patient care and economic use of resources
Coaching and mentoring staff
Support cost of sales and other Hospital initiatives / projects
Maintain high standard documentation and record keeping
Must be registered Nurse with SANC.
Must have a Diploma in Intensive Nursing sciences
Understanding of the private healthcare industry
Competencies required: Team player, very energetic, well organized
Must be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment
Strong inter-personal skills required
