Cellular users still paying premium whilst waiting for ICASA hearings

R2/MB - hmmmm... I shunt at least 100-200MBs in a day on ADSL.
That'll equate to:
1 day at 100-200MBs: R200-R400 for the day. EEEEIIIIIINNNAAAA! That's just 1 day not the month.
5 working days in a week = 20 days in a working month of 4 weeks = R200-R400 * 20 = R4000 - R8000/mo

In comparison to ADSL
100 - 200MBs in a day = 20 (working days per month) * 100 to 200 MBs = 2GB - 4 GB / month = price of current 2/4GB - R160+?

Eish! Who can afford this, the Telkom execs?!

mobile phone internet access is priced for narrowband usage

Yeah. You'll be hard-pressed to do all the stuff on your ADSL on your mobile phone.

Mobile phones are for checking email and doing very light browsing.

It's really sad that we have the technology to stream video to cellphones, but it's priced so out of reach. What's the point of having broadband speeds for mobile devices if you can't even use it for broadband applications?!
