Ok so I got the key I need to use with Origin. But I don't get this dog tag thingy...

What does it do?

I think the guys already playing can give more input, but as I understand it, when you kill an enemy, your dog tags are displayed for them to see. I also understand you unlock dog tags with your rank and medals, so I presume you can select which dog tag to use?

Also, when you knife an enemy you collect their dog tags.

Here I was thinking we'll be mailed real Dog tags With BF3 things on it :o

So it's in-game tags. Prob a custom Alienware tag then? Pretty cool then none the less :D
 
Think COD MW 2 style popup display of the person you killed. Also, I understand that if you knife kill a person you add his dogtag to your collection, so you'll collect all these different tags.

But this is all under correction.

Now I have to resist the urge to buy this on release day... :(
 
Sometimes I think there are just too many award things to get ... not that it is really a bad thing, but when you are not able to play several hours each day, dozens of hours a week, like others, you can kinda feel left behind if you care about the "medal type system"
