COPE has dumbest politicians

I suppose that I should know better - that when John Robbie agrees with someone that that person is probably talking out of their ass. Unless it is about rugby - I'll have to give him that.

Shilowa called in this morning to air a few tired cliches. And to go on about the many thousands who walked aimlessly around Gauteng yesterday and today. The best estimate that I've heard is 3000 of the financially unemancipated. To me 3000 is a 'few' thousand. Not many.

I guess it is this failure to grasp a simple concept that lands us in trouble when it comes to government's view on finances. Oh, let's have a train - it'll only be a few million. Oh, let's have some fighter jets - they are only a few million. Give everyone a social grant - there are only a few who qualify.

As long as they can take a few votes away from the ANC, I don't mind.
It's not as if the current ANC is more intelligent.
Just hope that if Cope ever becomes a big roleplayer in SA politics that they will spew forth more intelligent stuff.

Agree with OP. 3000 is 0.024% of the total unemployed (est.) in South Africa. Hardly a drop in the ocean. Love the way John gets all worked up about nothing, yet palms off the significant as everyday.
