China defends its Internet censorship laws

Microsoft, Google, Yahoo and Cisco Systems will all appear on Wednesday before a US House of Representatives human rights panel, which summoned them following a public outcry over their compliance with Chinese authorities

I think this is good, their reasons for doing this are purely motivated by money, whether anything will come out of it is debateable. At least big firms get taken to book over their actions overseas, not like "you know who" "you know where"
