Hi folks

The MyBroadband conference will be broadcast on Mindset Learn (DStv channel 319) at the following times:

Friday 28 October

  • 09h00
  • 19h30
  • 23h00

Saturday 28 October

  • 21h30

It was a cool event, and I am sure you will enjoy the show on DStv if you could not be there in person.
 
Mindset is on TopTV as well. Will check the schedule tonight.
 
Just watched most of it.

The panel was pretty cool. Telkom answer were a bit on the vague side, no surprise there. Someone should've grilled the Telkom dude about paying both line rental + adsl rental for the same device & copper.

I was surprised by the vast differences in speaking ability/presence. I had expected them all to be pretty much the same. Not so: Lars & the Neotel dude had real presence. WAmatt also, but less so. The VC CEO surprisingly not: He sounded uncomfortable & uncertain despite it being a 1:1 interview with a non-hostile interviewer. :confused: Maybe he just had a rough day...

@rpm please tell the okes next time not to put wall of texts in the powerpoints. Esp that indian guy...on DSTV thats just too much & too small text.

Also: @Audience I'm disappointed. Took forever for someone to work out 12m x 50 USD.

On the whole very cool though. Many interesting facts & subtle hints. Lars also came at the whole MyBB speech thing from a novel angle. :)
