Johannesburg - A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his wife and a six-month-old boy at the Tshiombo clinic in Mutale, outside Thohoyandou, Limpopo police said on Sunday.

Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the murders happened on Friday.

"It is alleged the 32-year-old father who is a security guard in Gauteng hit his 23-year-old wife and their son following a heated argument."

Mulaudzi said it was understood the man found out that his wife was having an affair and in an attempt to resolve the dispute, the couple approached the local social workers for assistance.

"The husband became enraged when it came to light that the six-month-old baby was not his. In frustration he stormed out of the consultation room, his the wife followed him and inside the clinic premises he picked a brick and bashed both the wife and the baby."

The security guards at the clinic were able to restrain him and the police were called.

Clinic staff were unable to resuscitate the two.

Mulaudzi said the man was expected to appear in the Thohoyandou Magistrate's Court on Monday.

:mad: He should get life for the baby and 5 years for the woman.
:wtf: 5 years for murdering a woman?
 Ur disgusting if you think her life is only worth 5years of his.

He should rot away in jail with no hope of ever getting out.

Why is it oke for black men to have many women but black women get killed for it?

it's a very sad story. Because he didn't have to stay with her.

He could have broken up with her wouldn't have to support the baby either.

So yes he should rot in jail.

Maybe so but if a woman told me a child I helped raised wasn't mine I don't know what I'd do.

He will get a limited sentence because he didn't know any better.

You would be sad and feel betrayed but you will leave her, fall in love with someone else. wtf Would anyone want to trade a new possibly better life with a new partner for jail and the guilt of hurting someone you used to love

We should outlaw babies. Seriously. The schools are overflowing and we are already at 7 billion people on this planet. 2 billion too many.

why does someone have to buy a 60 million rand car? why do you need to pay R20 000 for a handbag? why does a meal at a restaurant have to cost R3000?

the problem isn't babies, this world is easily able to support everyone on it. the problem is people and their greed.

Using your example - why should that rich guy be forced to support another man's family/raise his children??
For f sakes - If you make babies you should be prepared to raise and feed them yourselve, but now you want to force other people to pay for your 5 minutes of fun/irresposibility.\

Never mind the middleclass already shackled with taxes...

I think what happened was sad for everyone and his reaction was no good but if life was as black and white as you make out i could agree.

He raised a child thinking it was his and then he found it wasn't .

By the same token the wife could have left him if she wanted to have an affair. Shame this is a really sad story and the one i feel most sorry for the poor little baby. The wife well damn she drove him to snap and played a very big part in this whole thing.

I really cannot grasp why people won't break up before they cheat. I doubt any of this would have happened if she never broke this man. His reaction very poor but wow that must be a rough situation to find yourself in.

Because it teaches human beings the fundamental law which is, work hard and you will get rewards in proportion to the work you put in.

If we investigate the lives of most rich people you will find that a very large majority of them fought and clawed their way to where they are now. Yes some people are born into wealth, but for the most part people eating at restaurants where they pay R3k for a meal worked very hard for it and nobody should tell them how to spend their money IMO.

I have to agree that we are both right in this case . The woman was also wrong . But my arguement is he didn't have to kill them especially the child who had no guilt.

Being cheated on falls under normal everyday stressors so It wont help him in court especially because he already infront of a counsellor .

If you cannot controll yourself then you need to be locked away.

There are more unfair things happening in the world murder is not the answer.
