What the hell is this world coming to!

Johannesburg - An 11-year-old boy has been raped, allegedly by four other boys at a school in Eldorado Park, south of Johannesburg, police said on Wednesday.

The boy was receiving counselling from social workers while a case of rape was being investigated, Captain Phil Khorombi said.

He said the rape happened on Friday morning on the premises of the school.

"At this stage we cannot reveal much detail on the matter," he said.

The Gauteng education department had launched its own investigation into the matter, spokesperson Charles Phahlane said.

"The matter has shocked us and we view it in a serious light," he said.

Phahlane could not immediately reveal the name of the school.

If that where my boy I would take a bat to those other kids. maybe not a bat. maybe just my hands.
 
This is too much...That little boy is scared for life. No going back on this.

If that was my kid I would seriously hunt those kids down 1 by 1 and eliminate them from existence.

The evil in this country is seriously getting me down today.
Rape, murder, corruption.
Everything going to hell in a handbasket.
Is the smallest amount of human decency asking for to much?
Can everybody in South Africa catch a F-ing wake up and stop this sh*t.
 
Very sad story... As it is with any rape. Considering this attack was no doubt perpetrated by other school boys (as the article mentions, although, neglects to tell the age of), I can't find it in my heart to blame them half as much as I do their parents.

No kid turns into a rapist without a seriously screwed up home life.

For all the good that society thinks it did by removing disciplining of kids it sure looks like a major step backwards to me.
No more boundaries of right or wrong...end result - animal farm
 
where did they get the time? Also, dont they supervise in school?

Was waiting for some one to ask this...they don't say when it occurred. It could've happened during break or while the kid went to the bathroom during class on his own. These things happen quite regularly in schools, it just doesn't get that much publicity, and teachers can also not supervise kids 24/7 at school. There is a massive load of admin to do each day.

Then they should get parents/relatives to help
