I'm clearly trawling News24.com today.. so forgive me :)

What exactly do these idiots expect the premier to do?.. If you want to stop the foreigners taking away your business, then work harder and smarter.. and stop bloody ripping off your clients. The foreigners do so well because they work harder than you do, and they mark up their goods at a lower percentage than you do. Idiots.

Why not. That's what they've been told is their right.

But yeah rather hypocritical they protest against their brethren moving down south to join them.
 
March against the black foreigners or just foreigners in general? Cause in my area people are more discriminate (spelling?) against Somali's, Ghanaians etc. than they are of Pakistani's.

Ye... how about the British/European doctors that pretty much pay to work at our hospitals.

So many different "foreigners" living and working in SA... I agree that in some industries they are taking jobs from South Africans, but in a lot we need the skills !
 
Someone should tell them hawking is not a job. Nor is 'washing windscreens'. Murder, rape, pillage, hijack also not 'work'.
Just saying.

They follow the great examples of Escom / Telkom and the gouvernment.... so they have a "right" to be over priced and lazy and still expect to get the job.....

The ANC opened the gates for them, so they came .. and guess what now you have to live with it.
Where's the spirit of Ubuntu anyway? This is your African brothers you are marching against.
But then 'blame the foreigner' has always been an African pasttime.
 
It is funny in a twisted way when you think many of these are likely the same people who support Mugabi-type policies and probably think Gadafi was a great guy too...

But on a more serious note there is a big problem with government sending out the message that a job, money and a house is a right rather than something that is earned through hard work. The message needs to change to something more on the lines of you deserve the right to an opportunity not a commodity.

That and I wish everyone who has some public say would learn the difference between socio-economic idealogy and what actually really works. Communist and full socialism doesn't work, it just creates a worse type of "capitalist", one that not only has money, but serious political power at the same time. At least in capitalistic economies there is some semblance of a difference between the two.
