Has anyone ever won anything decent with those loto scratch cards

I don't play regularly but lately I have played a bit much more than I should have. And I never win more than R10 with one ticket and I spent a lot of money on cards. Hundreds.

They way Is see it, is that you probably get back R30/R40 for every R100 you spend. Just seems a bit fishy to me, I mean I should have a least got 1 R50 by now. Seems dodgy to me, meh.

Anyone else?
 
I wonder if they even give out the top cash prizes? No one I know has won more than R10. This definitely needs more transparency I wouldn't be surprised if it's almost a scam, knowing those lotto &$(*$&s
 
My Dad told me that I will have to work for everything I want or need. So far he has not been wrong. My 2 cents on winning stuff. :'(

We are quite a lucky family. Ive won plenty of stuff, most recent was the Playbook here. Tomorrow we go to collect the Quad bike my wife just won.

Won R2 from a scratch card once... Used someone's R2 to scratch it and he forgot to get it back from me.
 
Way old thread, but was wondering the same thing. Never really purchased these before, spend R30 today and won R58!
 
Sorry for the Necro but I am thinking of getting a few :p Some extra money for holiday season will not hurt(Probably end up with less money :D ).
 
My brother and I bought about R500 worth of those scratch tickets when we were on holiday last year. Won R90+ back...domestic stole the winning tickets.
