Best ADSL alternatives in Fourways, JHB?

I have a 4mb line with Mweb uncapped (R899 for line/data + R200+- for the phoneline). I'm now moving to Fourways (just behind Monte Casino) and Telkom does not have any ADSL ports at my new address.

My usage is probably around R50 gigs a month. I realise I'll have to cut down A LOT now if I get a capped account, but I would like to have at least a 512k line. Please could someone help suggest packages?
 
Peter, don't move there :P

We are in Lonehill and technically we have ADSL, 4mb uncapped with MWEB. Just no dial tone for the moment. Good luck with an alternative. Also, cell reception in the area is dismal, 3G is gonna be even more of a hastle.
 
There is no alternative to ADSL. Not in this country. Not yet. At least not anywhere in the same price range or stability.
 
The Telkom pilot of the MSAN rollout (20/40Gb DSL) is in the Fourways area. Take a ride around and see if there is any work taking place in a 1km radius from you. You might just be lucky...
 
Does your new premises have Telkom WiMax? you can use a normal DSL username on it.

Anything? Bump! I'm also looking for an alternative in lonehill! Adsl is total s*** and between telscum and mweb I'm going backwards! Paid for 4mb got 4.5-5mb (beginning of the year!) now resting on 1mb! Need help, we use quite a lot of gigs and do a lot of gaming! Need good ping! Willing to pay up to R1500
