Indirectly.

I don't believe thinking about a million bucks is somehow going to bring you a million bucks in itself. I do however believe that thinking about it makes you more likely to spot opportunities, focus your attention on it. i.e. Yes it works imo, but its a purely psychological effect which certain dubious persons have buried in a heavy layer of fairy dust bullsht.

It's crap, although, I guess what it could do, is give people a degree of confidence to take risks they otherwise may have not.

Fact is that confident people (read positive?) are more attractive in general. Have you ever hung around a really depressed person long enough? Eventually you just don't want to be around them.

This much is certainly true. It's simple self motivation though. The Secret is another story altogether. They took the god aspect out of prayer and milked Oprah and her minions out of millions...
