Contemplating getting an SII on my upgrade.
Only worry is battery life on Android. I used to have an HTC Hero and Desire and both were atrocious in terms of battery life.
My usage:
- Charge phone in the evening (20:00)
- Phone is next to me at night, I use it as an alarm
- Wake up at 06:00
- Use phone during the day to receive about 15 emails on push, 2-3 mentions on Twitter, 1-2 FB notifications, 4-5 SMSs, 15-20 WhatsApp messages, 2-3 phone calls of about 2-5 minutes each, browsing for 15 minutes or so, add/check 4-5 calendar entires.
- Bluetooth, GPS/Location, Mobile data always on
Currently have an iPhone 4. With this usage I'm still on 30-50% battery when I get home at 18:00
With Desire and Hero phone phone would be dead or on 10%
Would the Galaxy SII work for me with these usage patterns?
