We live in a complex and she says our cat is spraying on her front door. She is threatening to put poison down and kill him. I doubt it is our cat because he is neutered and they had issues while he was in a kennel while it was still happening.

So if she does kill my cat is there anything I can do or threaten toi do from a legal point of view?

does she know the cat was in the kennel while it was still happening?

I also had a problem with a stray cat a while ago. I took the cat to the SPCA & told them it's not mine or any of my neighbours(which it wasn't).

It was fighting with the cats in the complex & spraying everywhere, going into people's homes to eat their cats' food.

You could possibly call the SPCA & ask them. They should know the laws regarding you & your animals aswell as the neighbour.

Contact the SPCA.

Threaten her with laying a charge at the police.

Agreed, either via the SPCA or via SAPS you must be able to lay a charge or at least have someone pay her a visit.
If I were you I would make sure I take it further, dont leave it at that because if she is willing to make the threat then she may just be willing to go through with it.

What sort of ****wit would do such a thing?

Goddamn, I detest people sometimes.

Off topic, but flats aren't the best place to have cats.

Well the neighbor's cat did take a few involuntary swims in the pool (It destroy a bunch of stuff). But killing it....WTF.

When I was still in school I owned a German Sheppard, my neighbour was a stuckup old German guy, basically he complained about every little thing, if we worked in the Garage he complained about hearing hammers or me working on the Lathe and I did it at like 1am on a Saturday afternoon. In any case, my dog used to bark a bit if he saw a stranger passing in the street (we lived in a dead end street, so it hardly ever bothered any of our neighbours).

One day this oke came across and told us that we must shut the dog up, I opened the gate as a witty 17 year old and told him to tell the dog himself. He threatened to kick it, then I told him well sir you're welcome to try.
I detest people who don't like animals. I'm one of those people that would rather donate to animal welfare than human welfare.

Tell the neighbour that if he poisons you're cut then you're going to knock his teeth out.

My neighbour hasn't spoken to us for a year because they said our cat sprays in their garden.

Funny thing is, his dog used to dump on my front lawn until it died a couple of years ago. I never said anything because it's an animal and doesn't know when his owners piece of grass stops and mine starts.
