I have been lucky to have used the Apple Appstore in the past.
Now I have purchased my mother an ebook off the Appstore that is an extended ebook. That is, it not only has the obligatory text, but also flash video (detailing the method of cooking).
Now having used a recipe from that book, I can say it helped greatly.

Now, here`s the crux.. I own an android tablet.
My question is therefore, does the android market have `extended` books?
Or does it just have the normal text, picture only ones?
Am I expecting too much of the android market?

It is technically possible to provide such an app on Android, but I dont know if anyone has or has not done this.
I suggest you email the provider of that ebook on iPad and ask them about an Android version.

After a 30 minute search on Google..
Most eBook providers have enhanced-eBooks.
This includes Amazon and Nook.

So yes, it IS entirely possible.
:)

reading your initial post and thread title, i will say to you that you didn't position it in a way that would encourage people to help you.

even that on some forums, you would be flamed. imagine going to macforums and starting a thread like "I am sure OSX cannot beat Windows when it comes to this".

My point really is that you should know your audience.

edit - 3 posts of 208 views when i typing this. i happen to have windows, linux and osx. and i can tell you that this type of post either gets ignored, or people climb into it and have a go against the op.

Um, ok.
So basically you're saying - "Just rephrase the question, please?"
