7900GTX/GT Launched + Benches

isnt it the performance that counts? :p
bit of a disapointment i thought ut would be a bit better, probly too much hype.
any news on cost, availability yet? person?

I think the best news is that the 7900gt performs on par (+ a little) with a 7800gtx(256),
and these 2 XFX models:

It'll be interesting to see how much they come down in price, as they have only just listed at $290 - $350 type prices.
Will they push 7800gt/gtx down further you think?

Although it looks like they could do with a nice Arctic Cooling Cooler, then perhaps even some more headroom, who knows! :)

Im going to be ordering some 7900GT's early next week - if anybody wants, lemme know and I'll just add to my order from monarch/newegg ;)

Will probably take about 1.5 weeks to get to SA....
 
neh i would rather wait for them to get to SA. Some suppliers say they will be here in two weeks
 
The 7600GT looks awesome for its price.
Hope its not much more expensive here
