Mahmoud Ahmadinejad begins regional tour in Venezuela amid rising tensions with West over Iran's nuclear programme.
Ahmadinejad's visit comes amid rising tensions between Iran, the European Union and the UN over sanctions placed on Tehran as a result of recent reports about its nuclear programme.

The beauty of this is, in the long term higher prices of oil spurs the development of alternative energy sources. When oil was $147 a barrel R&Day on hybrids were at its peak. At higher prices it also becomes viable to pump oil at more remote places as the cost of pumping costlier oil is offset by the more expensive imports.

Venezuela and Iran may antagonise all they want, all they're doing is essentially shooting themselves in the foot.
 
SA probably buys oil from Iran but knowing our state oil company some one will pocket the discount that they receive from buying Iranian oil
