Hi guys

I have rooted my phone (for the second time) and am stuck with the yellow triangle on the boot screen. It is more of an annoyance than anything else and I don't like annoying things.

Is there anyone who has removed the triangle and still kept the ability to boot into recovery mode with CWM?

The reason I am asking the question like that is because I do not want to lose the ability to boot into recovery for the sake of the triangle. So if you managed to do this successfully, then please share the process - you know ... like an idiot's (noob's) guide.

I used this:
Firmware info
PDA:XWKJ3
PHONE: XXKI4
Date: 25/10/2011
Android 2.3.5

XEN (Netherlands): http://www.multiupload.com/5RC3ZSKDG2

XWKJ3 Stock Kernel: http://www.multiupload.com/JDA305KOVD
Password: intratech@XDA

Here is more current info on my phone:
Android Version: 2.3.5
PDA: I9100XWKJ3
PHONE (Baseband): I9100XXKI4
CSC: I9100XENKJ1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKJ3-CL647431

CWM Manager version: 3.0 by Chainfire
Current kernel: CF-Root 5.0

If this can be done with Mobile Odin Lite v1.25?

Thanks in advance

Okay, I found a Step by Step Guide
It worked for me

NB: DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK

1. Power on Samsung Galaxy S2.
2. Connect USB cable to your phone.
3. Download the correct CF-Root for your PDA version. (FOR ME it was CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEN_KJ3-v5.0-CWM5.zip)
4. At PC, use 7-Zip to extract zImage (zip – tar – zImage) then copy it to sdcard.
5. Download the correct stock kernel for your PDA version. (FOR ME it was Kernel_I9100XWKJ3.exe)
6. Extract stock kernel .tar file that you downloaded to Kernel folder.
7. Remove USB cable from your phone.
8. Then power off your phone.
9. Press and hold down Volume Down + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
10. Press Volume Up button when warning prompt.
11. Odin download mode will be loaded.
12. Connect USB cable to your phone.
13. Bring up Odin3.
14. Click on PDA.
15. Select the .tar at Kernel folder.
16. Click Start then.
17. Remove USB cable from your phone when you see green PASS! at Odin3.
18. After Android loaded, bring up CWM Manager.
19. Select Flash kernel ~ Flash a kernel.
20. Select zImage then click Flash.
21. That’s all.
Yellow triangle will be removed and you still can access to ClockworkMod Recovery if all the steps are done correctly…

No credit to myself (except for posting it here)

Waaaaay easier to get yourself a jig, or get someone to make you one.. Its that spare cable in your draw plus a resistor.
