8ta 10g + 10g vs iburst 10g + 10g

Hi..my voda contract 2gb + 2gb night owl is coming to an end and it was way too small for me hit my cap in 10 days. Im looking to upgrade to ibusrt or 8ta. Im a heavy torrent downloader with vodacom I used get 500kbs-1mbs speed.I was very happy with the speeds. Between 8ta and iburst which one is more reliable and faster. which one is better for a torrent downloader like me (any shaping or throttling) and is iburst wireless or 3g still confused. Ps I have coverage for both
I also think as time goes by 8ta speeds will be slower as more people sign up is this true.

If you looking to download torrents during the day with iburst,forget it.during midnight to to 8 expect speeds of 100kB/s.
Day time usage is good for software downloads and buffering youtube videos.
Nothing more.I challenge you to finish 10gigs for day time usage.
 
I find my iBurst a very reliable connection - almost not like a wireless technology at all. I detest all 3G sticks - never found one that doesn't disconnect, or stop sending / receiving data quietly, or fails to be recognized by my PC / router, or falls back to (useless) EDGE all the time.

That said, iBurst is quite slow these days compared to anything else out there, and that DOES show. YouTube videos always buffers and downloads are slow - even if you reach 100 kBs per second.
 
iBurst s Way too slow if you compare to 8ta, Im using both, if you do have 8ta signal, go for 8ta rather. iBurst is really ****, heavy shaped on p2p, kak daytime download speed.......etc
 
I live in the CT area and have had 8ta for about 2 weeks. I have not experienced anything bad with my service, no throttling, no downtime, no connection dropping, steady and acceptable download speeds, etc. In general I would say that so far I am very satisfied with 8ta, but I have not downloaded torrents with it, so I cannot tell you anything specifically related to downloading torrents.
