iPhone4 won't connect to home office wifi

Can anyone help me please? My iPhone won't connect to my home office wi fi. I have a Telkom ADSL 5102G router. Someone suggested that I upgrate my firmware on the router - it's currently 2.7.0.9(ZUE0.B1)3.3.2.5. I'm not a 'techie' at all and am scared I 'break' something if I fiddle with the firmware! Not that I have any idea how to update the firmware in any event!

I have connected to other networks with the phone so it's not a phone problem. And my wi fi works fine because my laptop and Kindle connect to it, it's just the iPhone that won't connect.

Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks...
