Was the Iran capture of the top-secret US stealth drone RQ-170 planned by the U.S. ?

This is one for the "TinFoil" hat people.

Could this be possible, given the thing was "brought down" intact & not shot out of the sky.

It is well known that US warplanes / spy planes have systems to cause self destruction of sensitive data in the event of accident or capture. A stealth spy plane is certainly going to have this built in given it's very design purpose.

Was it sent in as a 'Trojan Horse" of sort, with it's data specifically manipulated for the purpose of the excersize ?

While the USA may be asking for it back - this could also be a case of "keeping up appearances" for the sake of the excersize at hand

Not sure, let's ask the Lizard People. They always know what's ticking!

Did it explode yet?
If not, I'm pretty sure the Iranians would have checked out for detonators and spyware before moving it.

I too believe, the Russians wanted to remind the Yanks who is boss when it comes to internet wizardry and code breaking. Some of the most infamous hackers are either Russians,Romanians or Chinese. If you know how their draconian/spartan schooling system works, you'll understand why. Well, that and a above average IQ of the general population. Israelis are not far behind either.
