You might be able to find a 6850 for that price. but I doubt it.
You do realize though that DDR5 on a 128bit bus gives the same bandwidth as DDR3 on a 256bit bus?
Just get a 6790.

I realize that Qwik.it's for a friend and he wants a 256bit ddr5 card.I have looked at 6790.Funny enough I see no one has mentioned a Nvidia card.Nothing from their side that's strong enough to compete with AMD cards?

Wow I just had a quick look at prices, they have certainly gone up! Damn!
Other possible cards worth looking at are the Nvidia 550Ti, or the AMD 6770/6790. Best price I've seen for a 6850 was R1834 on Wootware.
