barebones are small as far as i know not good for air movement

Shuttle's the nicest IMO - they don't have that cheap feel that most of the others have. But ofcourse...it does come at a price

you asked for "the best", not "the cheapest"
- they are the original SFF
- their quality is best in class
- everyone else (MSI, AOpen, Gigabyte, etc) compares their SFFs to the Shuttles

I would get one without the motherboard included, and pop a Biostar TForce 6100-939 in there. Customize with a few strategically placed +/- 20dB fans, and overclock away!
