Hello Forum users!

Another day another build. We're trying to snipe all the most common bugs. Keep plugging in those cameras!
During this beta period, we are also offering additional free space to test automatic uploading of photos and videos. For every 500MB of photos and videos automatically uploaded, you'll receive another 500MB space bonus, up to 4.5GB total.

Time to burn up that 384kps line and get me so more space
I just hope that it is permanent extra space...or this will be an epic waste of time :D

Thanks just uploaded some photos. .

I assume this is using the "upload photos and videos" from the mobile app or uploading any picture the Photos folder.

You must install the beta version of the desktop client and use the photo and video import tool in auto play (for windows) to sync pictures and videos to dropbox.

The download link for the desktop client is in the dropbox forum, see first post for link.

Thanks for the link. Looks like I've received my first 500mb, for uploading my first photo. I'll run a big batch up tonight after my midnight-6am bandwidth kicks in.

Not that I've ever had to use that much space on my Dropbox, but I'm sure my line will love doing some uploading.

From a purely practical standpoint it's disappointing that they auto rename all of the files! How on earth am I supposed to locate an individual photo?
