I am just a little bit sceptical on 8ta. If they use Telkom's customer care or operation systems I am a bit worried. Reasons:
1. Confusion between top management, press-releases and customer care on available products and pricing, as well a T@C (from personal experience)
2. Took about 6 months to get my Telkom number on my name by which time I stopped trying (due to operation system "bug"). Then eventually went to prepaid Telkom which had its own issues
3. Lost my ADSL twice, both cases I had to make calls and had a week+ outage. On mobile networks the problem is always fixed without me having to call, and never more than a few minutes.
But valid comments in regards to pricing and alternatives from different networks. The other side is, with all the networks running there own packages with there own extras a table that might include all R100-R200 options would probably end up being a days read. I have mentioned it before, using a graph might allow better visualisation of where each telco operator is sitting in regards to price - in this case thinking an normal XY plot with price and MB, with the new package points maybe highlighted. RPM, maybe include something like that in future articles?
