Vodacom 3GB business broadband special

It's a huge improvement on their old prices, but it's all absolutely irrelevant since these are all on 24 month contracts.
 
I don't think so, Vodacom coverage is excellent compared to 8TA and Cell C.
 
The only way companies can grow nowadays is by new subscribers. They look pretty good in comparison.
The current deals released will entice migrations from other providers and from new devices/subscribers.

On the other thread the comparison was made how loyal Vodacom subscribers don't benefit at all who have a proven track record(and a rand value worth to VC) and they rarely benefit from these kind of promotions. I am talking about bolt on and additions to the contract.

Hopefully in the future these will be made available to all.
 
Agreed Knersie, a business user is looking for good coverage and network stability... not masses of data! 8ta's promo's won't work for a travelling business user!

Well I have a 24 month Business contract PLUS a 24 month 1GB contract and I am currently paying R250 for 1Gb, this Promo give 3GB for R200 or 1GB for R100. Are they going to adjust my pricing as I am a Vodacom customer for more then 10 years already. This is peeying me off.
 
I've switched from vodacom to 8ta recently and I'm very happy.
I was buying 2 x 2GB bundles at R369 each a month on vodacom, R738 total.
Now I'm spending R300 for 2 x 2GB + 1GB (Midnight surfer).
6GB on 8ta for R300, 4GB on vodacom for R738!!!!
So I'm spending less than half, getting more data and no contract!

This latest offering from vodacom sucks. 24 month contract?!

@ kosta... why didn't you just get the 10GB/m promo? Probably don't want to sign a 2yr contract?

Wasn't aware of the 10GB/m promo. But yeah I don't want a contract, I want to be able to swap providers as better deals come along.
Thinking about getting that once off 60GB+60GB Midnight Surfer Bundle from 8ta next month for R1800.
Its valid for 12 moths and works out to R15 per GB! Even if you burn through it in 6 months, that works out to R300 for 20GB per month...
 
Wish we had these promotional specials as the norm from all the Cellular companies.Pretty soon we all gonna be carrying Voda,MTN,8ta,Cell C sims(i've got all 3 except MTN) just chasing after all these promo specials.Great news, but time to "settle down" and give us realistic prices.

8ta works fine for me and many others. If you haven't tried it, don't knock it.
People these days just assume that coverage is bad with 8ta/CellC from hearsay without testing for themselves.
 
So bussiness money has more value for vodacom than from an ordinary user

Dude really... think b4 u speak! I have the 10GB promo. I'm within the coverage area and the speed is abysmal! I have contacted 8ta via [email protected] with zilch response in 2 weeks! Oh and for the record I had CellC's 24GB promo b4 that as well! Also problematic!

A business user wants coverage where ever they go, 8ta's coverage is tiny when compared to Vodacom. So why on earth, as a business user, would I sign up for 8ta's promo when most of the places a travel on business aren't covered?

Oh well, at least you tried the cheaper deal. Tough luck. A lot of people just assume that 8ta won't work.
