just to let you all know, we have recently installed skype, with a very simple R290 each usb phone on each computer in company in each branch, one month later now, we have already paid off all the phones, the skype version we use is 1.xxx on windows 98, the phones support win98 with a custom written driver, then on newer pc's skype2. works like a bomb, a simple adsl line at each branch. and adds a whole lot of features. just thought someone might appreciate knowing it can work without any fancy voip pabx that cost money

How often do you find you lose connection on Skype calls, and are you using saix shaped adsl?

well i often speak for about 30 mins, never had it cut out on me. using a 12gb cap on datapro, but same lines also used for mail and a whole lot of other things, skype use very little bandwitdh
