Impressive latency on 8ta 3G compared to 4meg ADSL

My 8ta connection is an excellent performing backup to my ADSL line.

I get better latency to most sites with my 8ta connection. What makes it even more impressive is that my tower is 12 km away.

Here are some ping results. I've truncated the data to make it more compact and presentable.

USA site:
Pinging abc.com [199.181.132.250] with 32 bytes of data:
8ta 3G:
Minimum = 323ms, Maximum = 334ms, Average = 327ms
4meg ADSL:
Minimum = 347ms, Maximum = 348ms, Average = 347ms

Minimum = 487ms, Maximum = 513ms, Average = 494ms

Minimum = 472ms, Maximum = 481ms, Average = 477ms

Minimum = 190ms, Maximum = 211ms, Average = 198ms
4meg ADSL:
Minimum = 211ms, Maximum = 234ms, Average = 217ms

That's impressive. Although I get -75, I get around +-330ms to the Eu. Around 150ms to S.A sites.

Pathetic.

Yea.....195 avg ping to bbc.co.uk..50ms local...But Last 2 weeks it just suddenly konks out and shoots to 600ms for a few min then returns to normal..Pretty k@k for online gaming if that happens..Local speed test is great..International not so Much!

That is pretty impressive.. i only get slightly better pings on my 4 meg.
