Doesnt seem like the most reliable group....

... by "unprecedented" they actually mean.... "we didnt check for child labour... now some people we pay will make sure there is no child labour... but the universities cant check up on the people we pay.'"

However, I am sure they can market this so that it sounds like theyre actually being awesome!
 
Good start but lets see if the other companies (Acer, Asus, Amazon, Dell, HP, Microsoft, MSI, IBM, Motorola, Nokia . . . . to name but a few) follow suit.

In fact I wish more companies/people actually knew how their loving gadgets are made. It is sometimes shocking to see what conditions people live and work in.

I worked for 3 years in China for a large multi-national. Its funny how most of them only look at their own factories but turn a blind eye when it came to suppliers. So you will find that the assembly workers of the big names are looked after but the people that made some of the parts struggling to survive due to bad labor practices and salaries.

I know of cases where people send young children in to "keep" their spots on assembly lines when they sick simply because they get paid by the hour and dont have standing contracts.
