Lol. That's just a really clueless way of saying there are more men than women.
 
That's just silly.

if Blacks make up 90% of the population vs whites making up 5% , then 18 black couples should divorce for every 1 white couple in order for it to be a 50/50 split.

Saying 35% of divorcees are black is the same as saying blacks consume more air than whites ... it's just down to numbers.

The article should read "30% of all blacks get divorced". However, since whites make up only 5% of the population, I don't see how they could account for 30% of all divorces in the country ... given they realistically only make up 5% of the marriages.

Blacks account for 36 out of every 100 divorces. If it was proportional then blacks would have to account for 78 out of every 100 divorces.
 
I suppose black women are now entering the modern era and throwing off the old patriarchal model. Divorce thus results. Not a good thing actually, rather work through the differences.
 
You would have to look at number of marriages of certain colours.

CAuse if 1 million white people are married but say for arguments sake of the 40 million blacks, 100 are married, that will also give you highly skewed results.

That is true. Black women in the past were at the mercy of the man. Today women have careers, are self sufficient and don't have to take sh$t anymore. I know many married black guys that cheat like it is normal thing to do. Before women would have had to live with that.

No, women now have the means to act and get divorced. They dont have to put up with crap anymore...
 
I'd like to know what's the major reason for divorce.
I'm ruling out irreconcilable differences.
