TelkomInternet Capped Accounts for April 2006

Please post if you are capped this month, same procedure as last month :cool:
 
too early I think, but last month I had to use 4 Telkom accounts (2 3Gigs and 2 2 Gigs) so I guess they're just getting smaller and smaller, I basically do exactly the same thing every month (although never bothered to see how much traffic I go trough) and started with 1 Telkom account, then the next month I had to get a second one and so on...

so now I'm going with allyoucaneat...
 
definitely a good plan ! Rumour has it that their 30 gigs is not always hard-capped either. People reporting getting in excess of 40 gigs in a month off one account which is pretty decent. So good luck to u man!
 
allyoucaneat, are your accounts hardcapped?
 
how do you explain what the forumites are saying?
 
I got well over 10GB last month without getting capped. I wonder if they track your traffic type and cap people using a lot of P2P before they cap those using a lot of HTTP traffic?
 
Just got capped! I got capped sooner because the damn power trips all the time. Should have only been capped tonight.

Still 20.4GB is not bad. :p
 
Last month on one account I was capped at 9 gigs (fairly early in the month), then with my other account I used it till the end of the month without getting capped and ended up at around 22 gigs. How do you explain that?

If it wasnt so arbitrary I could probably dump my heavily shaped but uncapped uunet account and not have to worry about chopping and changing between it and my telkomInternet one - even if it meant getting an additional 2 or 3 accounts.

Just so long as I could budget for it.

I think certain accounts get grouped or something cos last month I only got around 8GB same as your first account but I only have the one so I cant compare. This month I am up to 20 again.

If they could give me 1 20-30gb account and one say 15gb I would be over the moon. Rape the 20-30GB account then switch over to the 15GB for the rest of the month

I have just been capped on 4 gigs. I have gotten 8gigs for the last 3 months and now 4. Where is the consistency - oh yeah this is Telkom we are talking about. I had budgeted for 8gigs and they give me 4gigs....I cant wait for the SNO to start offering ADSL services. As a matter of principle I will be changing over!

These uunet accounts of which u speak, how much are they? Is it local only?? Linky?
