What's the point in having content if people can't afford to access the internet!
Content growth will come through Internet growth!
Anyway, I suppose it couldn't hurt, but by far the most important reason why there isn't local content is because the fact that broadband costs are ridiculous in this country and because of these costs there is a very small internet community, and the sparse community that does exist spends all their time moaning at MyADSL
What a crock! Content isn't going to drive growth and penetration, ONLY lower pricing will! It's like they're saying they're scared of the incumbent operators that they have to come up with this kind of "run-about". The problem is the high incumbent prices - sort that out (regulation or open market competition) and you'll experience growth then content will come into demand. You can't skip a piece of the puzzle!!! Sheesh, stand up for consumer rights don't chicken out because of incumbents!!
